What does this shroud do?
This is a shroud kit that transforms your Metabo grinder into a concrete cutting crack chasing saw.
Does it come with a grinder?
No, it is just the shroud kit. You must purchase the grinder separately. U.S. SAWS does offer complete saws if that's what you need.
Will it fit any grinder?
No, this model fits Metabo grinders only.
Why don't you make one that fits every grinder?
Because different grinders are built differently with different bearings and shafts.
What kind of blade should I get?
Any diamond blade that is 4", 4.5" or 5" in diameter. Maximum width is .357. This is not intended to be used with abrasive blades.
Can I use a "V" or "U" Shaped blade?
Yes.
