The most innovative concrete floor grinder on the market, the TC-7 Stand-Up Edger, became designed to give the operator the handheld feel of the concrete grinder in his hands while maintaining a comfortable upright position. Control levers allow the operator to adjust the stand-up grinder pitch for complete control.
The TC-7 Stand Up Edger Polishing Package comes equipped with a Metabo 24-230, dust shroud, variable speed control, and polishing tooling kit. The polishing tool kit includes: variable speed control box, #120 Bi-Turbo, Steel Backing Pad, #50-#3000 Honeycomb resin pads and E&F Nuts.

Most of those other stand-up edgers force you into a bad posture with your arms locked out and almost zero ability to control the pitch of the grinder. The TC-7 gives you real front-to-back and side-to-side pitch control through a solid metal tie bar, and the frame geometry keeps your arms and feet in a natural position. That’s why it actually feels like a hand grinder instead of fighting you.
On small touch-up work, a hand grinder can be faster. On anything bigger than a few hundred square feet, the TC-7 wins because the operator doesn’t get smoked. Less fatigue = higher production over the course of the day.
Yes. An experienced grinder operator usually figures it out in under a minute. The controls are simple and the machine behaves the way you’d expect.
It’s fixed and designed for operators roughly 5'6"–6'2". Outside that range it can still be used, but it’s not adjustable.
This package comes with several accessories to make it work well for polishing. Firstly is the Variable Speed Control box. Thats important because resin pads need a slower speed. Secondly is the rigid steel backing pad. This holds the resin pad firmly and flat to give the operator the "feel" of what the pad is doing. It comes with everything you need to go from bare concrete up to a 3000 finish.
